Vintage Advent Calender

This is the project I have been working on over the last week, I had lots of fun doing it even though I trapped a nerve in my finger while cutting out the decoupage lol, its ok now though.
This is made using the Advent Calender Kit that you have a chance to win on next month's Crafty Challenge which starts this Monday (1st Oct), its from 'Pink Tulip Creations', my local craft shop, they are made by a local craftsman who is very talented, he also made the 'Christmas', 'NOEL' is available as well. The Snowflakes that you can see at the back of the project I got from 'Hobbycraft'.

I covered the sides with Kaiser Craft papers then distress them using the Tea Dye distress ink ...

... the boxes I also covered with a mixture of BoBunny and Kaiser Craft papers and again distressed them using the tea dye distress ink, the numbers, which come with the kit, I left as they were ...

..... and the decoupage is off the Docrafts Christmas CD, I attached them using acetate at the back because I wanted them more to the front and not just stuck onto the back ...

..... I hope you like my project and that you will join us in next month's Crafty Challenge.
