Autumn Happy Birthday

Good afternoon everyone
I hope you have all had a great week
My project today is a birthday card made for my best friend, love of my life, Bryan
Happy Birthday Bryan
I created it using a piece of artwork from a calendar last year
the beautiful work by

Hannah has very kindly allowed me to share this project with you
"we are very happy and pleased for people to make things using our items for their own personal use but not for selling. we don't endorse use of our products (e.g. with decoupage) for commercial purposes."
Thank you Hannah.

I mat and layered gold mirri card, black card and back ground card which i stamped using a single leaf stamp and Espresso Adirondack ink, I lightly inked around the image fist with the leaf stamp and then with Vintage photo Distress ink to match the design.
I heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder.
I add brown string and made the embellishment using fabric leaves, die cut foliage, leaves and skeleton leaves which I lightly inked and added some real acorns and faux gold studs to finish.

I really hope you love it as much as I do
thanks for visiting

  1. Hi Emma this is a stunning card that squirrel is gorgeous. I can see why you wanted to use him. Have a great weekend. Take care. Hugs Jackie

  2. Fabulous card, love that squirrel, it's a super design.

  3. Lovely card, and great way to recycle. Sorry I haven't been by recently but with a very big DT project and over a week with a cough & cough, I haven't had much time or felt myself. Creative Blessings, Tracy x

  4. Another stunning cards Emma, the artwork is beautiful and works perfectly with the autumnal colours you've used x
