Herb Storage

Good afternoon everyone
I hope you are enjoying your day.
My post today is a DT project for
'Craft Consortium'
using the GORGEOUS

Herb Jar Storage...
I bought this MDF box from The Works, it did have a thin lattice
design on the front but had broke, unfortunately it was glued to
the glass so all had to be removed. I dismantled the box, placed the box door in a bag a smashed
the glass and then carefully removed any remnants.
I replaced the glass with thick acetate after the box was decorated.

I used Ranger Oxide Sprays - 'Forest Moss' and
'Brushed Corduroy' to colour the interior of the box.
I used the beautiful Herbarium papers to cover the box, except for the bottom...

...I used the Herbarium clear stamp set - 'Herbs' , Versamark and Tim Holtz
Distress Powder - 'Shabby Shutters' to heat emboss around the edges of the box lid then used the Oxide inks to add colour and painted over with Imagination Crafts Crackle glaze.
Once all dry I attached the acetate to the reverse of the door, reassembled the box and added some metal embellishment corners.
I covered the base with cork sheet...

I took 6 seal jars and added the labels...
the labels are in 'The Herbarium' Paper pad...
I cut them out, backed onto some of the papers and coated with the Crackle Glaze.

I hope you like my project and if you haven't seen

please check out their site...

I can't recommend enough...the quality is excellent
and fantastic value for money.
