Cardboard Bird Box

Afternoon everyone
I hope you are having a fab day.
My project today is my DT make for the
Challenge Blog

The Theme for this months Challenge is
'Add Cardboard'
This month's fabulous prize sponsor is Emerald Creek and it's a whopper: $50 shopping spree!

I made this little bird house by first of all drawing a template...
Cut and assembled the box....

...sanded the edges and scraped a few areas and added some texture pastes.
The lid / roof had a shelf structure below to put bits and pieces in, also hold the roof to the box.
I just painted inside with white acrylic.

PRODUCTS USED

Cardboard
Texture pastes
Die cut leave swirl
I cast the bird and the leaves using DAS clay and used Oxide inks to paint.

I hope you like my project.

  5. This is a charming little bird house - the soft muted greens are so pretty and the corrugated cardboard gives it a great rustic look.
