Peacock Card

Good evening all, I hope you have enjoyed your day.

A quick post from me today, it's a card made using the
beautiful Peacock Die that was the free gift in this months
'Die-Cutting Essentials' magazine
Issue 38

I cut the peacock out of black card.
I done the background using Oxide inks, attached the die, went over with
a mixture of the Oxide inks.
Only on the peacock, I added Glossy Accents.
Attached the finished topper to black card and done another background using the inks.
I made a template with the die and inked threw onto the background, just the feathers.

I hope you like it
Thank you for popping by, enjoy your evening.

Masking Tape Mixed Media project

Good afternoon all, I hope you enjoying your day.
I thought I would share with you this project I done made
using masking tape...

I took a square piece of card, lay it on my craft sheet and
basically just covered it in strips of masking tape, different lengths
and creasing is as I went.
I then put a bit of Mediterranean Blue Cosmic Shimmer Metallic Gilding Polish
on my mat and sprayed a bit of water and mixed, I painted all the tape.
I then dry brushed using Imagination Crafts Starlights
Metallic paint - 137 Platinum.
I made up some paper roses, layered them onto some netting and some
flat die cut flowers and painted them the same way as the masking tape.
The black card die cuts were made using a Memory Box die and Die'sire
Rose fine die.
The topper is created by using a square of black card painted using the
Gilding Polish and then the Metallic paint.
The image is the beautiful stamp by Indigoblu - 'Jane Collage', I stamped
it using Black Versafine ink.

Great technique for getting that textured look to you projects.
Hope you like it

Flip Flop Apple Blossom

Good afternoon everyone
My post today is to share
this card I made using the gorgeous dies
that were FREE gifts in Die-Cutting Essentials Magazine
and the

I used the flip flop die in a different way for this one, I simply
cut then cut down the score lines so it gave me just the oval and the
embossed top and bottom.
I cut this out twice, both out white hammered card,
one I cut the oval out to place behind the other one which
I had coloured with
'Cosmic Shimmer Mediterranean Blue Metallic Guilding Polish', I also
coloured the topper part of the die cut to put the 'Enjoy Today's sentiment on.
The base card I used the outline die of the 'Apple Blossom' die to cut one side of
my base card then measured and cut two piecies of white card to mat and layer,
both edged with the outline die.
I waxed the smaller on, mat and layered with the white one
and attached to the base card.
I cut the main 'Apple Blossom' die out of white card and attached
to the back of the Tonic die cut, attached to the card
using foam tape.
I added some flowers which I made using a flower die out of white card
and added some blue faux gems to finish.
I hope you like it
Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a fabulous weekend.

Happy Anniversary...

Good evening everyone, I hope you have had
A delightful day.

My post today is an Anniversary card...

I cut the frame using the Spellbinder 'Intertwined Spirals' frame die out of gold mirror card, I attached using foam twpe.
The heart were made using the
I cut one out of gold mirror card and attached to a piece of
Snow White Gold Ventura Pearl and cut out.
The other I attached some of the gold
white card then cut the heart out, I cut it so it didn't go completely
through, I had the whole heart but with all the bits still attached,
I then cut a white heart and placed it over the top,
this gave it an embossed look...

...Unattached the hearts, added some faux roses, die cut leaves, I used
a Britannia die and the leaves Quilling die from Crafter's Companion.
The sentiment is also a Britannia die.

I hope you like it, I really enjoyed making this one.

Thanks for popping by, enjoy the rest of your evening.
