Heart Padlock

Good evening everyone, I hope you
are enjoying your Friday.

My post today is a quick valentine card using one
of my own designs, the digital stamp
'Heart Padlock'
You can find this stamp and more of my designs 'HERE' at

I printed it out onto super smooth paper and coloured
using Pro Markers.
I then just cut it out and using 3d foam pads I attached to the card, which I made just by simply mat and layering red and white card.
I have just done a simple design to show you the stamp, you can do so much with this image and it's one on my favourites.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you can visit me at
to see more of my designs.

Enjoy your evening

Vintage Cars

Evening everyone
I hope you have had a great day
A quick post from me before I go and get some dinner.
Today's make is a Happy Birthday card.
I created it using papers from the
'A Proper Gentleman Collection'

I also used
Black and cream card from my stash,
Tea Die Distress Ink,
Peel offs ( I couldn't find my 'Brother' stamp lol )
and black faux gems.

I hope you like it and thank you for visiting my blog today,
Enjoy the rest of your day.

Rustic Poppy

Good evening everyone
I hope you all have had a fantastic day. I've been busy with housework today but managed some crafting.
I made this card using the beautiful
Crafty Individals

I randomly stamped onto a square piece of white card using the poppy stamp and Victorian Velvet Ranger Distress ink, I distressed the edges with the Victorian Velvet and Tea Die ink and curled the corners.
For the topper I just stamped the image with Victorian Velvet and distressed the edges the same as the background.
For the borders I tore two strips of white card, stamped randomly with Victorian Velvet and then stamped them with a  Lace stamp by Kaiser craft with the Tea Die distress ink, distressed the edge and curled the ends.
Added the sentiment which I stamped, a paper flower, raffia bow and a button.
I hope you like it, it was quite fun to create.

Thanks for visiting
Enjoy your evening

Happy Birthday John

Good evening everyone
I hope you have a fabulous day.

My post today is a Happy Birthday card for a very
special gentleman, my Father in Law
It is his Birthday today but sadly he is still in hospital, hopefully he will be home soon though.
Happy Birthday John

I love this topper, I have had it for ages, I think I just wanted to keep it really because I like so much lol, for the life of me I can't think what company they came from but it was possibly Kanban.
I mat and layered cream Adorable Scoreable card with card mirror for the first layer.  The second layer I used a edging die by Sue Wilson to cut the cream card and edged the gold mirror and mat and layered, I attached this using 3D Foam tape. The third layer I scored two lines, one either side of where the topper was going, on the cream card them mat and layered onto the mirror, I attached then with foam tape.
I added the topper and for the sentiment I simply stamped and heat embossed in gold onto cream card and layered onto gold mirror.
Added good coloured faux gems to finish.

I hope you like it and thank you for visiting my blog today,
Enjoy the rest of your day.

Get Well Soon

Good afternoon everyone
A quick post from me today
I wanted to share a Get Well Soon card with you that I made for my Aunt
I had short notice to make it but I hope she loves it.

The topper is from the 'Vintage Tapestry' collection by Kanban,
The border die is the Die'sire 'Jardin' by Crafter's Companion,
I also used part of a Tonic die set for the sentiment, Memory Box swirl die and a leaf die.

Thanks for visiting today and I hope you all have a fabulous weekend.

Life's Treasures

Good afternoon everyone
Well, my first post of 2018, I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and New Year
My card today is a 7"x7" card
I used the beautiful
Holly Hobbie 'Life's Treasures'
stamp by
'Crafter Companion'

Unused the tare technique on this card because I thought it went with the image, I also distressed the edges with Walnut distress ink by Ranger.
I embossed one of the squares of card and sanded to show the white core.
The swirls are a Memory box die and I die cut the flowers and added faux gems.
I coloured the image using the following
Pro Markers
Yellow, Sunflower, Amber, Vanilla, Pastel Yellow, Dusky Pink,
Putty, Ginger, Burnt Orange, Raw Sienna, Cinnamon, Tan,
Caramel and Cool Grey 2.

Thank you for visiting

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Good afternoon everyone
I hope you are enjoying your day and are all ready for Christmas

My last post of the year is a Christmas card made using
'Pretty Poinsettis's topper from the
Hunkydory Christmas Classics Luxury Card Collection

I simply mat and layered with card mirror, die cut the circular border behind the topper using a Spellbinders die and added a bow.
I enjoyed making this one and I am quite pleased with it.
I made a quick box for it as it was too layered for an envelope.

Thank you so much for visiting today
Thank you for all for visiting, following and all your lovely comments over the last year
Have a very Merry Christmas
and all the best for the New Year

Christmas Rustic Candle Holders

Good evening everyone
I hope you have had a joyful day.
My crafty make for you today are these glittered glass candle holders,
The glass jars are from two candles that I bought a while ago, once the candles were no more I cleaned them, making sure all the wax had gone and put them to one side, I always keep any glass jars.

First of all I masked off the edges of the jars, top and bottom, just around the rims, I just used sellotape. This can be a bit fiddly but it's worth taking time over.
I smoothed over PVA glue using a sponge then sprinkled with red glitter, tapped well to get off excess.  I lightly sprayed with sealant spray, this stops the glitter coming off, and put to one side.
I made two raffia ribbons and made two raffia bows, I made the holly leaves by using a punch on green card, shaped them and dipped them in clear UTEE in my melt pot.
I used a sprig of fern and with my glue gun I attached the raffia bow, the holly leaves, three faux berries and a glittered larch come.
Using a glue gun I added the raffia ribbon around the top of the jars and added the bow embellishment where the join was.
To finish it off I used white Flowersoft for snow, around the top of the jars and bits on the embellishment, basically where snow would land.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I hope you like my candle holders,
enjoy the rest of your evening.

Christmas Coasters

Good evening everyone
I hope you have had a great day.

My share with you today is a Christmas coaster,
I created it using a birch wood disc, added faux pine, larch cones,
berries and holly, just on the front and added Flowersoft as the snow.

You can use it for your candle voltives or tealight holders ...

... or to sit your Christmas ornaments on

I hope you like it and has inspired you to make your own
decorations this year, if you haven't already.

I have, so far, made half a dozen of these and I think
they look great dotted around the room.

Christmas Eve Box

Good afternoon everyone
I hope you're enjoying your Friday so far.
My crafty share for today is a
'Christmas Eve Box'
I've been making this on and off for a bit but finally got round to finishing it.

I started with a wooden box which I purchased from 'Hobbycraft'
I gave it a quick light sand just to make sure that it was smooth and then painted it with 'Dark Scarlet Americana multi surface satin acrylic paint'
I made a template from printer paper to cover to middle of the box and around the sides, just leaving a corner and along the edges showing, I just tore the paper, it doesn't have to be an exact shape.
I then stamped snowflakes randomly with Versamark and heat embossed in gold.
I used gold gilding wax lightly all along the edges.
The gilding wax was also used to colour the wooded lettering and then I sprayed it with glitter spray, I attached to the box using wet glue and added metal snowflake embellishments.
I also added metal corner embellishments and a metal clasp.

To finish it off I lined the inside with green felt.

I still might add bits to it knowing me but for now I'm quite pleased with it.
Thank you for visiting today

Blue Christmas

Good evening everyone,
I hope you have had a great day.

I've been making Christmas cards again today, using the lovely Hunkydory Christmas collection.

I simply mat and layered bless background card and gold mirror card, added the topper with the frame raised using Collall glue.
The background die is a Spellbinders die, I used the beautiful Poinsettia Flourish & Corner die set by Sue Wilson and added some poinsettias.
I added some white stickles and the sentiment to finish off.
I thought about added some faux gems but thought it didn't need it but will probably end up adding them.

I hope you like it, thanks for visiting my blog
Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Christmas Hanging Decoration

Good afternoon everyone,
I hope you have all had a wonderful week and are enjoy your day
I'm sharing with you today a Christmas hanging decoration that I made yesterday

I used
A natural wood disc - Hobbycraft
Pine sprigs - from a wreath that I had
Berries - Baker Ross
Larch Cones - Baker Ross
Flower Soft 'Snow'
Hessian Bow
'Noel' wooden embellishment - Hobbycraft
A short length of chain (to hang)
Hot melt glue / glue gun
Holly leaves which I made by punching out of green card, inked them and popped in the melt pot with UTEE ( Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel)
I sanded the wood disc and added a bit of walnut distress ink just to add some colour around the edge, I attached the chain using small eye hooks which I carefully screwed into the top.
I attached the 'Noel' sentiment with hot melt and added some 'Snow' Flower Soft around the edge using acrylic glue.
I added the Flower soft to the larch cones, pine sprigs, berries and holly and attached all together using hot melt.
I attached the bow also using hot melt.
I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it, it is my first attempt but it will definitely not be my last.

A Gift of Love

 Good afternoon everyone
I hope your enjoying your day so far
My make today is a card I made yesterday, it's using one of the beautiful

To create the card I used the old but great technique of paper tearing, I took a piece of white card and, pulling up and towards myself, tore the card carefully, I tore a large square for under the back ground paper, which I found in my stash, a piece for under the beautiful image and a final piece on which I stamped the sentiment, which is one of four that come with this stamp using Seedless Preserve Ranger Distress ink, which I also used to ink the edges of all three pieces of the torn card.
I tore a couple of pieces of purple vellum, just to add for effect.
The flowers are die cut from satin paper using the dies
Added a few faux gems to embellish.
I coloured the image using the following ProMarkers
Pear Green
Cool Grey 2

I hope you like it, I loved making it
