Afternoon everyone
I hope you are having a fab day.
My project today is my DT make for the
Challenge Blog

The Theme for this months Challenge is
'Anything Goes'
This month's fabulous prize sponsor is Creative Embellishments!

I created this by first of all assembling the MDF cogs and connected them with pieces of dowel that I cut to size. I then painted them with black gesso and used Alchemy waxes, peridot, cobalt and peridot gold, to give them an aged metalic look.
I took a round of wood, painted using texture paste and acrylic.
Once all dry I attached the cog structure to the base.

With the lightbulb part of the project I simple took a lightbulb and covered with some Stamperia rice paper and distressed with oxide inks and texture paste.
I added some black cord and added the paper roses.

Herbarium hanging frame

Good afternoon everyone
I hope you are enjoying your day.
My post today is a DT project for
'Craft Consortium'
using the GORGEOUS
Hackney&Co

For this project I used the MDF box frame from
Daisy's Jewels and Crafts...
I assembled, covered the base and the frame with one of the beautiful papers, sanded slightly in areas just to give it the distressed look.
For the panels I added some of the reverse of the paper I used for the frame, sanded in areas and also added distress inks to age it.
I tore the herb toppers from the paper pad, inked the edges to distress further then added them to the panels...
I used faux gems to makes it look they are pinned.
I added some hooks to the bottom of the frame and a wall mount bar on the back....useful for hanging your herbarium tools on maybe!
I added some black cord with some of the gorgeous Craft Consortium metal embellishments that a part of the 'Herbarium Collection'.

I used Ranger Oxide Sprays - 'Forest Moss' and
'Brushed Corduroy' to colour the interior of the box as well as to distress the paper on the panels.

I hope you like my project and if you haven't seen

LaBlanche

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are enjoying your day.

My projects that I'm sharing with you today are a couple of cards that I created using the beautiful
toppers and laser cutouts by
I got this beautiful collection from 'HochandaTV'

I used one of the cards that came with the collection and mat and layered onto gold mirror card...

....I also used some of the mirror card and die cut a circle with a circle cut inside the size of the clock face, I cut the clock face out of the topper and attached it to the underneath of the circle of mirror card then used silicon glue to raise and give dimension.
I stamped and heat embossed the sentiments for both cards.

This one was created in more or less the same way as the one above, I added some of the laser cutouts on both just to embellish and give more dimension.
The die cut gold mirror card elements behind the toppers are both cut using Die'sire dies.

I hope you like them, I loved creating them, I think these cutouts are beautiful and are just perfect for a quick card that looks like you have spent ages creating.
