Designed in partnership with award-winning illustrator Katy Hackney;  The Emporium is the seventh instalment in our Hackney & Co. series  and brings with it a range of coordinating stamps, vintage metal beetle  charms, wooden ephemera, washi tape and adhesive enamel dots.

I die cut the flowers and leaves and added some stamens...

The sentiment is from one of the stamp sets from the collection.

I cut the moths from one of the papers and decoupaged them...

Vintage Song Stationary box

Afternoon everyone
I hope you are having a fab day.

My project today is my DT make for the
Challenge Blog

The Theme for this months Challenge is
'Anything Goes'
This month's fabulous prize sponsor is Gecko Galz
The winner will also be invited back as a guest designer!

I created this using an old seed box I had....
I used a ProMarker, black, to colour the edges and covered it with paper from the Stamperia papers 'Music'
I tore the edges and used Tim Holtz Distress Inks - 'Tea Dye' and 'Brushed Corduroy'

....I made the pendant by attaching some of the paper, a rose, onto the back of a metal embellishment and poured in resin...

...I lined the box with black faux velvet...

I cut the tags and postcards out from the paperpad, punched holes in the tags, add ribbon then used strips of the paper to bind them.

I added heart shaped gems which I simply coloured black with the PoMarker to match the theme.

I hope you like my project and I hope you can join us at
the FANTASTIC Challenge

onto black card twice, heat embossed with gold embossing powder,
Cut them out...just the outer wings and head of the one and decoupaged...

I used the same stamp, heat embossed with gold embossing powder onto a glass..

I lined the box with red felt and made a platform for the coaster to rest on.

Stone Roses...

Afternoon everyone
I hope you are having a fab day.

My project today is my DT make for the
Challenge Blog

The Theme for this months Challenge is
'Anything Goes'
This month's fabulous prize sponsor is Seth Apter!

I created this first of all by cutting a piece of thick cardboard...

... I painted with black Powertex adding small art stones and piece of cotton netting and lace which I also Powertexed and gathered down the centre of the board.
Once this had dried I made some 'dribbled' lines with my glue gun and a few random droplets.
I added the resin keyhole and roses and then, with a sponge and brush, black gessoed the whole piece.
Once dry I dry brushed with Starlight paints - 'Platinum' and 'Mediterranean Sky'

I hope you like my project and I hope you can join us at
